YO MOMMA COMPETITION!!!

Date: Tuesday, 12 May 2009

Time: 1230-1330 [Common Lunch Break]

Venue: Lecture Theatre 1

Registration is FREE OF CHARGE!

and ATTRACTIVE PRIZES ARE TO BE WON!!!

How to Play

1) Based on the MTV joke show “Yo Momma”, this activity encourages creative ways for students to produce intelligent comeback jokes at one another.

2) The emcee will name a theme for the jokes to be based on (eg. Yo Momma is so fat, Yo Momma is so ugly etc.), and will allow one of the contestants to start.

3) Other contestants will have to think of other creative answers.

4) Contestant participation is spontaneous.

5) The contestant with the most audience cheers and creative answer will win.

Examples:

Yo Momma so fat when she wears a yellow raincoat, people said "Tax!”

Yo Momma so stupid that she tried to put M&M's in alphabetical order!

Yo Momma so ugly just after she was born, her mother said "What a treasure!" and her father said "Yes, let's go bury it."

Rules and Regulations

1.No personal attacks!

Although the jokes involve the subject of “your mother”, they are not meant to be taken literally and should therefore not personally insult your opponent’s mother. Therefore, let’s all do this in the good name of fun, shall we?

2.No vulgarities!

They are all meant to be jokes, so let’s all be classy citizens and uphold ourselves as role models by keeping our mouths clean. (:

3.No offensive statements/remarks!

In order to avoid any personal tension among ourselves, please refrain from the usage of offensive comments. Harmless jokes, people! (eg. Racism, Sexuality, etc.) Not-Cool-Yo!

Reminder:

Failure to comply to the above shall result in disqualification. Nanyang Joke Club shall not be held responsible for any personal dissatisfaction with the jokes involved.
